SpinCity is an eclectic record store that every genre can call home. Born in New York, this shop celebrates its underground charm and welcomes everyone from the curious explorers to the avid collectors. For this brand identity concept, I really wanted to emphasize the grunginess that can be found in the NYC music scene, utilizing bold colors as well as unusual typefaces and textures. No two people are the same, and our music tastes reflect that idea. At SpinCity, there is something for everyone. It’s gritty, groovy, and everything in between. So…if it’s nice, play it twice.
